Professional Details:
Since I was young, I have always had an interest in the world of finance. As I grew up, my interest in finance grew as well.
I majored in Financial Planning at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and upon graduating; I started my career with Equitable as a Financial Advisor helping families and educators.
This career afforded me the opportunity to both: work in the field I have always been passionate about, and also assist people with reaching their financial goals.
What is exciting to me is being able to teach families through complex financial situations and help them create a strong financial plan.
There are many uncertainties in life; and there are a plethora of important financial decisions people will face, but having a valued advisor can help navigate through these difficult decisions.
What makes me feel value is when I sit down with a new client, they give me the affirmation that they learned something new; because when I can teach them about their pension, 403b, IRA, etc., that creates the foundation of a strong relationship that lasts for many years.
Qualifications:
Graduated from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BA in Consumer Economics with a Minor in Financial Planning. I currently hold the following licenses, titles and designations:
- FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 Registrations
- Life, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses
- Retirement Benefits Specialist Tax Sheltered Plans
Personal:
My favorite sports teams are the White Sox, Bulls and the Chicago Bears.
I enjoy staying active in by weight lifting, playing pick-up basketball, and running outdoors during the Spring/Summer.
My favorite books are the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
I have a very large coin collection that I started when I was young with my grandfather.
